An admin platform designed for a fintech company that provides a trading platform for users. It enables administrators to manage essential actions on the user platform while seamlessly integrating with multiple systems, including the user area, external trading dashboard, HubSpot CRM, and blockchain infrastructure.

The previous admin system was built using a developer-created template that became increasingly unscalable over time. New actions were added as separate tabs without considering an optimized user flow, leading to a fragmented experience. Additionally, many components were unintuitive and did not adhere to user experience best practices, making the system inefficient and difficult to navigate.

Challenges with the Previous System

The company’s previous admin platform was initially built as a developer-driven template, which over time became unscalable. As new features were added, they were implemented as separate tabs without a structured flow, making navigation inefficient and overwhelming. The system lacked a cohesive design strategy, leading to inconsistencies and usability issues.

Users switched between disconnected tabs to complete tasks, increasing complexity and time.

Lack of Scalability

As the platform grew, adding new functionalities became difficult without further cluttering the interface.

Many components lacked intuitiveness and UX best practices, hindering admin efficiency.

I conducted one-on-one sessions with internal users, reviewing the existing admin platform to understand their specific workflows and pain points. To gather industry best practices, I researched various admin dashboards, CRM systems, and project management tools, focusing on component design and user flows. Additionally, we analyzed the data structure and permissions, refining how information was presented to ensure users accessed only the relevant data based on their roles.
